Our Aims

The broad aim of AiVision is to provide as many persons as possible the means to better vision, to help prevent blindness and thereby improving their quality of life.

You might call it .....Do It Yourself Vision Testing.

Our Products

AiVision presents new vision testing technology called Optiscribe that has been developed over the last 15 years by Dr Simon Grbevski, a registered professional optometrist with over 35 years of vision testing experience and Dr Des Maddalena, a scientist with over 40 years of biomedical research and scientific computing experience.

This new Optiscribe (c) technology which is based on proven vision science principles and optometrical practice, is designed to empower the average person with the means to accurately assess their own vision quality at their convenience in the privacy of their own home or office.

Aivision has worked closely with AiMaze Pty Ltd on the implementation of Optiscribe on the Internet.

Vision researchers:   We are currently carrying out an active research program into lensless vision testing methodology. We are interested in possible tests for some of the rarer vision problems. If you have some ideas in this area please contact us.
